The Gentle Way is a home for neurodivergent women (and beyond) who are unlearning performance and rebuilding trust with their bodies.

As a pastor/poet-turned-somatic practitioner, I get to work with virtual and in-person clients in the Salem, Oregon area as we gently explore the inner chaos and beauty of being highly-sensitive humans in a world not designed for us.

We’ll work with the stories in our bodies, the pain that’s been tricky to untangle, the essence of what it means to be a complex human, and the very real possibility that healing could be ours too.

Writing will continue to be central to how I show up in the world. We’ve got more curious threads to pull and wonder about together!

As the Gentle Way slowly unfolds into the light of day, there are a lot of you who care about this work existing in the world.

Would you consider investing in the beginning of the Gentle Way’s story?

There will be clients who would love this work but financial barriers exist in their lives. Your gifts mean I can offer a sliding scale and remain sustainable.

Deepening our roots now in stability is a gift to my family as we step away from local church funding.

There are practical costs like a Zoom subscription, accounting software, website hosting, and insurance. We’re keeping costs as low as possible while choosing products that enable sustainability so I can focus on being present with people.

Income will come from client fees, paid subscriptions for writing/resources, and group work.

A deep bow of gratitude

Thank you to each of you who’ve supported me through a variety of life chapters. We’ve shaped each other and that mattered.

I bring your love with me into this new space. I’m so excited to pass along the love you’ve given me.

With great peace & gratitude,
Jenny
