Student Reset Day
Sometimes your kid has had A Week.
They’re overwhelmed. Something is going on with school, friendships, family, their body, their emotions—or maybe they don’t even know what’s going on. You can just tell their nervous system needs a break.
But you have to work.
And sometimes, let’s be honest, kids can tell a non-parent things they can’t quite tell us.
Maybe therapy isn’t accessible right now. Maybe they simply need a safe, attuned adult to spend some time with them while they find their way through whatever feels too big.
That’s what I’m imagining with a Student Reset Day.

A private, 3-hour virtual space for kids and teens to land on a day when school feels like too much and their nervous system needs something different.
You message me, and we schedule a reset for your kid or teen. We meet briefly first, and then I spend some spacious time with them—with generous breaks and no prescribed agenda.
We might talk. Draw. Move. Make something. Play. Notice what’s happening in their body. Untangle some big feelings. Figure out what they need.
Or simply have a little room to breathe.
Maybe they need to talk about something that’s been sitting heavy. Maybe they need to laugh and make art. Maybe they need someone to help them understand why everything suddenly feels like TOO MUCH.

The goal isn’t to fix them or squeeze productivity out of a day off. It’s to give them space to be seen, supported, and reconnect with themselves.
I bring 25 years of experience caring for and working alongside kids and young people, training as a somatic practitioner, and a deep commitment to making room for questions, complexity, difference, and the whole human being. I’m also autistic + ADHD myself, so I know firsthand what it’s like to move through the world with extra sensitivities. And I’ve loved creating these kinds of days with my own kids for years.
Lately I’ve been wondering:
Could this be something other families need, too?

What to expect
- 3 hours, privately with your student
- Virtual, with generous breaks
- No curriculum or predetermined agenda
- A brief parent check-in at the beginning
- Time for talking, drawing, moving, resting, creating, playing, or simply being
- A parent available nearby as needed
- $200
We’ll follow the student rather than asking them to accomplish anything. Every Reset will look a little different.
I honor that you may not know when your student needs a reset day until it feels needed now. Scheduling in advance allows all of us to prepare with intention. However, when needed, reach out by the evening before to see if next-day availability is possible.
