Gentle Way Circles

I've been thinking about creating small, seasonal groups within The Gentle Way.

Not another program to complete or a support group where you have to perform being okay. Definitely not a space where someone hands you a 12-step plan for becoming a better version of yourself.

Just a small group of people gathering regularly to slow down, tell the truth, listen to themselves, and be witnessed by others who are figuring things out, too.

I'm calling them Gentle Way Circles.

And I'm still figuring out exactly what they want to become.

What I'm imagining

A Circle would be a small, intimate gathering over several weeks.

We might talk about things like:

  • what it means to live as a neurodivergent person in a world built around different expectations
  • unmasking and the strange freedom—and grief—that can come with it
  • learning to notice and trust our bodies
  • boundaries, relationships, and the fear of disappointing people
  • burnout, capacity, and building a life that actually fits
  • spirituality, meaning, and the questions that don't have easy answers
  • grief, transition, identity, and becoming

There would be space to share, deeply listen, engage somatic practices, and connect with each other in meaningful ways.

Who might want to be here?

You might be drawn to a Gentle Way Circle if you're:

  • beginning to understand your neurodivergence and want to explore what comes next
  • tired of doing personal growth entirely on your own
  • learning to unmask and discovering that it's more complicated than you expected
  • craving connection that doesn't require you to perform
  • navigating a season of change, grief, identity shift, or uncertainty
  • wanting space to listen to yourself alongside other thoughtful humans
  • simply thinking, I want to sit in a room with people who get it.

You don't have to identify as autistic or ADHD to be part of every Circle. Different Circles may have different themes or audiences.

What might a Gentle Way Circle look like?

I'm still imagining this with you.

My current vision is something like:

Small.
Enough people that everyone has room to be known.

Seasonal.
A defined beginning and ending, rather than another ongoing commitment.

Gentle.
No homework mountain. No pressure to share. No gold stars for personal growth.

Embodied.
We'll pay attention not only to what we think and feel, but to what our bodies are telling us.

Honest.
There is room for complexity, contradiction, grief, anger, joy, and all the things that don't fit neatly into a healing narrative.

Connected.
Because sometimes what we need most is to discover that we're not the only ones.

I'm listening

I don't want to design these in a vacuum.

If the idea of a Gentle Way Circle makes something in you go yes, I'd love to hear from you.

I'm especially interested in knowing: What would you want a Circle to be?

What would make it feel nourishing rather than like one more thing to keep up with?

What would you want to talk about?

What kind of schedule would actually work for you?

And what would make you think, Yes. I want to be part of that.

Sharing your interest doesn't commit you to anything.

It simply lets me know you're out there.

Want to hear when the first Circle takes shape?

If you'd like to be among the first to hear about upcoming Circles, you can join the interest list below.

I'll reach out when I have something more concrete to share.

No commitment or obligation.

Just a little way of saying I'd like to sit in this circle someday.

Gently,
Jenny
